Prescott, AZ – The Prescott Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the launch of their new Gift Prescott – A Shopping Experience program, an economic initiative focused on engaging local businesses in the growing gift certificate market and encouraging residents to shop locally. The Prescott Chamber of Commerce is pleased to offer this opportunity to member merchants to showcase to customers and the community through a gift certificate program.

Today at 9:00 a.m. we sold $1,500.00 worth of Gift Certificates on our first day of launching the program to Ponderosa Hotel Management Services and Findlay Automotive Group. They plan to gift the certificates to employees, volunteers and customers as a way to thank them.
Using the program is easy. Visit the Prescott Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center at 117 W. Goodwin Street and you can conveniently purchase a gift certificate for yourself or another redeemable at any participating merchant within the greater Prescott area starting November 15, 2018. Just in time for the holidays!

WHAT DOES IT COST?
Sign up is FREE with Chamber membership! You retain 97.5% per certificate face value. The 2.5% covers the operational and marketing costs of the program. That’s it! No expensive equipment or set-up fees.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Certificates are purchased from the Prescott Chamber of Commerce (in-person)
2. The certificate is presented to the merchant, when a purchase is made.
3. Prescott Chamber of Commerce pays the merchant via check after receipt of redeemed certificate in approximately 5 days.
This program is year-round. Prescott Chamber members who want to participate in the gift certificate program simply fill out a form and the Prescott Chamber will market that they are participating in the program!
